Lake Forest Park(ish) Favorites

Pretty much every weekend we go out and about in different part of Seattle so I thought I’d start closest to home and work our way out. Lake Forest park is very residential so there aren’t a ton of options but here are my favorite restaurants / breweries in the area!

  • Brier Pizza Kitchen

    • Greek style pizza with a varying menu. It’s been our favorite since moving up here. They have a little outdoor patio that is my favorite for seating but the indoor is your classic old school family pizza place. My favorites are:

      • 1.) the chicken club add pineapple (yes - I like pineapple on pizza, ok)

      • 2.) prosciutto and fig (the owner grows the figs in their backyard and turns it into jam!)

      • 3.) extra cheese (4 kinds! the feta really makes it pop)

  • Stoup Breweing Kenore

    • Family friendly with a wide range in types of beers (I love anything hazy). They still seem to be working out the menu but you can’t go wrong with the wings or the nachos

  • Vulpine Tap Room

    • snacks, 21+, small, outdoor patio in the parking lot during the summer. In Lake Forest Park Town Center

  • 192 Brewery

    • right off the Burke Gilman Trail. Largeeee outdoor area with tents and some fire pits. Indoor seating as well, warehouse feel. Good rotating selection of beers and wines. Easy spot to go to after a ride or if your just looking for something chill. We love to grab few beers and play some rumi

  • Skog Haus Coffee (air stream pop up outside of Local 104)

    • Get the cardamom latte! I do 8oz with oat milk and it is heaven in a cup. Gluten free pastry options

  • Sri Uma Thai

    • Right off of 522 its the best Thai food we’ve found up here (our favorite in Ballard was Thai Siam). We love: crab delight, Pad Kee Mao, Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Red or yellow curry, crab fried rice. I don’t think their spice levels are too crazy so we usually get a 3 but maybe we just like a little heat!

  • Ikiiki

    • Also right off of 522 this is our go to sushi spot. The inside was closed for a while with Covid been it seems they’ve been doing some updates plus the back bar is always a good dirty dive spot. We love: miso soup, California roll, spicy tuna roll, golden dragon roll, cherry blossom roll. hey also advertise Chinese food but I haven’t tried it yet!

Do you have any more spots you think I should check out in the area? Always looking for great places to try! Leave a comment below :)
